You are seen as fat and ugly. The fashion industry says so!

For those people who think that they are imperfect for this world, or to those who think they are in full knowledge and awareness with what happens in the fashion industry, think again. Everybody knows how some girls like to think they can squeeze into those negative size dresses and make themselves be unhealthy and 'stick thin'.

Let's explore the world of 'Fashion and Beauty' shall we?

Britain's Next Top Model TV show is a prime example of these stereotype models who think they have to look and be a certain way to be accepted, the ones who think having a stick of celery for dinner is a sensible meal. You can see the different types of girls who go on these shows and see how self centered they can really be. Why be like that?

Young girls and sometimes boys and older women look up to these stereotypes and think they look perfect and think that's how you should look. But it's not. Everybody needs to stop paying attention to these young stars, who don't have spots, and have these clothes that fit them perfectly. Images you see in magazines and on posters etc are all 'fake', they are just photoshopped to the max to make them look 'perfect'. They have lighting and photoshop crew on hand 24 hours a day and they are to blame too, as we are just looking at what they see as an 'attractive person' and not 'real'.

On the runway, it's a completely different way of life, as to how we see it. The supermodels we see on the television and in magazines are roughly between 5ft 11" and 6ft 1" and they probably weigh around 10 stone, however the height and weight of a 'normal' person is around 5ft 4" and weighs around about 9 stone.

Parents can be to blame too, when they are pressuring their daughters/sons into modeling, thinking that they can the next supermodel to walk on the runway. They start to feel bad about themselves because they don't look like what we see in magazines etc. They need to realize they aren't 'photoshop fabulous' from birth and they never have been, it's all about what is seen as perfect.

The point is, you don't want your children growing up to be like these sometimes irresponsible celebrities, and exposing themselves to be classed as a 'fake', all because of them matching themselves to people in magazines. It isn't everyone in the world who sees this as OK. This is where eating disorders etc come into mind. You wouldn't want your daughter to suffer Anorexia, just like you wouldn't anyone else. So prevent it from happening and show your children and other people it isn't real, and you can be beautiful just the way you are.You wouldn't want to be in the situation just because the Fashion Industry tells you it's the right way to be.
